Our Story
Frank & Carolyn met 10 years ago in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They didn't like each other very much. But through mutual friends, and through a book club they fell in love. Over George Orwell, Orhan Pamuk, Rachel Carson and many discussions over brunch, they got to know each other and realized they were two parts of a missing whole.
Two cross-country moves (to Baltimore and then to the U.P.), two houses, two cats, a dog, 8 chickens, and 1,000+ bees later, they are ready to make it official and finally tie the knot! They've supported each-other as partners - as Carolyn built a medical device startup company travelling sometimes 6+ months in a year to transitioning to consulting & as Frank built his corporate career and recently launched his own startup company.
We are excited for you to join us as we celebrate our lives together - both the last decade and the many more to come.
